Liberty Street Rear

Liberty Street Rear
Located in the interior of the block between Liberty and Grand Streets in Newburgh, this gut renovation transformed an abandoned structure into a flexible live-work space. Built in 1920, the building had been vacant for four years and was in disrepair. The space was designed to be flexible, allowing for living spaces and workspaces to coexist on either floor. A tight exterior envelope with continuous insulation helps create an energy-efficient building. The renovated structure has ample light and simple, durable finishes.
