Balmville House

Both the interior and exterior of this 4,000 sq. ft. Mid-Century Modern house was extensively renovated. The kitchen was reconfigured with new cabinets, fixtures, fittings, and finishes. Windows and doors were replaced throughout, and the partially enclosed stair at the ground floor was opened up. Heavily glazed infill walls and a bulky wood railing were removed and replaced with a steel cable rail system. A primary suite was created with sliding doors that open onto an extended deck, and stairs down to the edge-of-bluff hot tub overlooking the outdoor pool and the Hudson River.
