Flatiron Loft

Flatiron Loft

The loft occupies the penthouse floor of a building in the Flat Iron District of Manhattan. The 1,800 sq. ft. loft was completely gutted to create a space suitable for the owner's extensive contemporary art and mid-century modern furniture collections. The new windows have an acoustical glazing assembly to shut out the street noise. The terracotta roof structure was opened up to add a large skylight, and roof terrace was built. Custom millwork and floating partitions define the dining and living room spaces.
